Who is Guan Yu?

Revered as a symbol of loyalty, righteousness, and brotherhood, Guan Yu has inspired generations across Chinese culture. Our Guan Yu bag charm pays tribute to those enduring values through the colours and iconography associated with the legendary general.

He is famously characterised with a red face, a long black beard, and long 'silkworm' eyebrows. Fashioned after traditional Hong Kong Futsan lions best known for their sharp angles and fierce movements.
